ハイブリッドオパールは、学術産業連携の研究グループによって実施されたISS(国際宇宙ステーション)での実験で得られた研究成果を含めた実験・研究を長年進化させて開発された新しい人工オパール素材です。 一定の割合の樹脂と天然オパールと同様にシリカ粒子が結晶した状態で作られています。 天然オパールでは実現できないであろうサイズや、カラーバリエーション、容易な作業性、耐久性、軽さ、など新しい装飾材としての可能性を持つ人工オパール素材です。 Hybrid opal is the evolutionary new material which has been developed based on the results obtained in space experiments performed on the International Space Station (ISS) by research groups including the Academic-Industrial Collaboration. Hybrid opal offers the benefits of discovering new possibilities such as the large size and easy workability which could not be achieved by natural opal. It compares favorably to natural opal, beautiful play of color effect will be expressed in a stable manner. In addition, color variation is also abundant such as the red or blue fire in the rich background colors (ex. red, white, blue, and black) so that is very expressive more than natural opal.
